About

Cultural Connections is a community-led initiative that brings people together across lines of difference, whether cultural, political, or religious, to engage in open, thoughtful, and respectful dialogue. We believe that meaningful conversation is the first step toward reducing polarization and building understanding in a divided world.

Through guided question prompts and shared conversations, participants explore not just what sets us apart but also what brings us together. Whether you're talking across faiths, political beliefs, or cultural backgrounds, our goal is simple: listen deeply, speak honestly, and find common ground.

Bridging Belief: Faith and Understanding

July 13

Kevin Moran Park, Saratoga, 95070

1PM (Stay As Long As You Want)

Join us for an afternoon of open, respectful conversations between people of different faiths—including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and beyond. This event is part of the Cultural Connections series and is designed to reduce misunderstanding and create space for empathy and dialogue.

Participants will pair up or join small groups to discuss guided questions about values, traditions, and the role of faith in everyday life. No prior knowledge or background is needed—just curiosity and an open mind.

What to expect:

  • Friendly conversations guided by a set of thoughtful, neutral prompts

  • Opportunities to share and listen without debate or pressure

  • Light refreshments and a peaceful outdoor setting

Whether you're deeply religious, spiritual but not religious, or just curious—this is a chance to connect beyond assumptions.
